Stephen is punished

Stephen has been challenging me all the afternoon and he made it on his pants. He doesn't want to eat. He is punished and he can't use the computer this evening. I am looking for advices on how to punish your lovely child without feeling guilty :-)

Stephen has a new friend, The IPhone. He likes to play app games and he waits for his mum every evening in order to play. He also sleeps one hour later. He is very smart as he tries to download new apps alone but hopefully there is a password. Stephen will discover his school on July 2nd and 9th. Stephen doesn't like to see Vic leaving for work and he is very happy when I tell him "Stephen, mamie doesn't work tomorrow". When we call Vic, he often says "Mamie, come back. I want the IPhone".

Today is my wife birthday so "Happy Birthday Vic". We are celebrating with friends all day long.

The best time of the day is eating a chocolate ice cream with Stephen in the evening.

Travel Phuket Thailand

We went to Thailand with our friends Sze and Karim. It was a nice and short trip as we stayed only 4 days around Surin Beach in Karim apartment. Coconut trees, nice beach, thai food and massage are typical activities for Phuket. We went two times in Surin Beach and we had massage there. The Reggae bar was very nice too. Last, we ate and drink a couple of times in the French people's headquarter in Surin, Black Cat bar and restaurant. We were able to play table foot and pool. I really like the hospitality of Thai people.

Stephen and Thomas and Friends

Stephen doesn't watch anymore Thomas on youtube but his passion is still alive. He has a bag, shirt and underwear with Thomas as well as the four little trains on the table. Living with Stephen is more and more interesting as he talks a lot and he has his own personality. When Stephen doesn't want to do something or he doesn't want to go somewhere, it's hard to change his mind. He can scream and he refuses to walk. Actually, it's very troublesome to walk with Stephen as he looks and he wants to go everywhere. Every evening, we eat ice cream. Stephen is a child like any other child, curious, sincere, spontaneous, kind, imaginative, sometimes selfish and who learns through laughter.

Stephen and the return of Spring

Stephen doesn't always obey so that we become more severe. He is sometimes beaten with a hanger and obviously he doesn't like it. He can also be punished and he can't use the computer in the evening. When he doesn't want to eat, I send him in the dark bedroom till he changes his mind. Stephen also likes to put his fingers into his noise. We teach him basic cleaning activities such as hand washing after toilet and teeth brushing before sleeping. He doesn't like to brush his teeth either. Stephen made a nightmare last night. He said "No happy train, there is nothing".

Swallows don't make spring but sunshine surely does. Spring is coming and we really enjoy the transition from winter. When we get use of the warm weather, the beauty is gone so the first days are truly wonderful. I can imagine that we will be in the beach in two months. Some people consider that the nature has something mythical and it's true in this season. Bright light, warm wind but not to hot and flowers.

Stephen and the phone conversation

I had my first phone conversation with Stephen yesterday. Stephen called me with Vic's help. Stephen was unhappy because I was out for horse racing in Happy Valley and Stephen wanted his milk. "Allo, daddie yaille yaille, I am hungry" I replied "I'm coming, I'm in the bus" Stephen understood and added "Ah, you are in the bus".

Stephen and the not good cat

Stephen tried to explain the difference between a good cat and a bad cat who beat him and scratched him. The bad cat is "not a good cat" and the good cat is "not a not good cat". I think Stephen will be able to study mathematics and logic :-)

There is also cookie monster. Cookie monster is my right hand which tickles him from time to time. Sometimes, I asked Stephen "where is cookie monster" and he replied "Shut, cookie monster is sleeping". Whenever he screams, cookie monster wakes up and tickles him.

Stephen - I love daddy

Stephen gave us a surprise yesterday. He said "I love daddy, I love mamie" as well as most of our friends. He said that he loves everybody.
